A flow and yin fundraiser for the RFS

What do you feel when you see images of burned animals, forests, and homes or when you read dreadful stats on the CO2 emissions that were produced by our ongoing fires?

Frustration - Sadness - Guilt - Helplessness

For weeks I wanted to do something about it besides donating money. I wanted ACTION.

So Kelsey and myself came up with this idea of channeling our frustration and sadness to create something beautiful - community event and fundraiser.

This two hour workshop includes a heart opening flow by me followed by some soothing and calming yin poses by Kelsey.  We will conclude with a beautiful loving kindness meditation to realise that we are all interconnected.  The actions of one can affect the lives of many.

SATURDAY FEB 1,  12-2PM, $65
Where: Woke Yoga Mosman
Address: Suite 2, 52 Ourimbah Rd. Mosman, Sydney, 2088

Free to service members, first responders, and their families as well as people affected by the fires

Let’s channel our emotions to create a positive ripple. Come, do your practice and know that 100% of proceeds will go to the RFS.

The RFS has single handedly saved my home and my neighbourhood from burning over the past weeks, often sacrificing themselves in the process.  Many members in the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury areas are self employed and when the fires are active, duty calls and trumps all else.  They put aside personal responsibilities, work, income, even Christmas, to protect and serve the communities from which they come.

In a small way, this is my token to return the love and honour the undeniably brave, selfless service of these inspiring men and women.
